I would like this to affect searches as well as the timeline.

The only feature that tweetbot for iPhone beat Rowi :) so I hope mute filters will be added in some ways asap!

For such an impressive app in most other ways, I was really surprised this wasn't included. It's the one thing that keeps Gleek ahead in my opinion.

I'd love to be able to mute a person or #hastag for a specified amount of time (5 minutes, 1 day, permenently).. with a list of currently muted people/hastags.

Muting would be a great feature! Definitely add me to the list!!!!

Filtering is my most-missed feature in Rowi. Carbon has it; MetroTwit has it; we need to be able to say "Rowi has it"! :)

        Please add!

Muting of people should be a standard Twitter feature, but would be great if you could implement it independently.

To expand on the original idea: I would love it if you could add any number of filters that affect the results on the timeline, searches, etc... anywhere where you view a list of tweets.

Ideally, each "rule" could give options like:
        - what will be checked against (client (eg. hide foursquare, instagram, etc.), keywords, hash tags, username (poster or retweeter) (multiselect)
        - text field to check of the above with simple text match, wild cards ('?', '*'), or regular expressions for those who know (eg. 'bachelor(ette)?', '(bieber|kardassian|snooki|jersey ?shore)', etc.
        - "cascade action"… ie. if one post matched filter and is hidden, all replies to it would get hidden too (even if they don't match) (checkbox or toggle)

On "rules list" panel, a toggle to turn each rule on or off.

If a filter matches, then the tweet is hidden completely (although a further idea might be to have an "action" choice, of "highlight" (maybe with a choice of colour), "hide completely", and "shield" (ie. show author and hash tags, but only show post on tap?))

No other client I've found on WP7 or other platforms has this... and I think it'd be awesome to have. I like Twitter, but it's... hard for me at times to deal with certain posts. (insert depressing story about my fragile mental state here). ;) WP7's built-in Twitter integration is nice, but it of course doesn't have such filters. So Rowi with live tiles to replace that would be great IMO.

        Thank you for your consideration!

We've definitely heard this one and is in the long list of "we'd really like to", but there are a lot of logistics to figure out how to do it right. Vote it up if you feel it is important!
